Great food and even better was the price. . would recommend if in the area and you fancy a giog curry .
Food took over an hour to arrive, the waiting staff did not check in on us or offer our table any water. I ordered the vegetable paneer masala, it was extremely sweet, more like a korma and had very little paneer in it. I had also asked the waiting staff about the length of time we were waiting and they were dismissive and unapologetic. I understand that we were a large party on a busy night and that they may have been under pressure. However, I would not return to this establishment.
Fantastic. The place was very busy but they managed to squeeze in a table for 4, the staff were extremely friendly and the quality of the food was second to none. Bring your own booze which keeps the price down a bit. No negatives about this place at all.
Nice curry sadly didnt have any desserts in. Staff were okay.
Brand new decor, a lovely place to eat. Always a friendly welcome and always good food. If in York this is a superb choice, try the Garlic chilli lamb....Scrumptious
