Rubbish after sales! I was bought a town bike as a surprise. Unfortunately I didn't like it, as I was used to hybrids. It took weeks for someone to get back to me about it. Firstly I was sniggered at when I said I preferred hybrids to town bikes. Then they deducted some off the original purchase price of the town bike, when I swapped them over. Then I was asked to give them 5 stars in their review (very cheeky,) and finally I wasn't notified when it was due its free service. Don't buy your bikes from here, as they just take your money and run!
Very Good CafeI have eaten here a number of times, there is always an inteesting menu with good choice of salads. The cakes look very tempting but as the main course is usually huge I am nearly always too full to try them.
I contacted Cycle Heaven by email inquiring about servicing my bike. A week later, no reply so took my bike elsewhere. Thanks to their lack of reply I have found a great little repair shop on the outskirts of York who took care of the servicing and I'll be using it again in the future.
I've heard great things about the cakes and the coffee was lovely, but there's a minimum spend for card payments and we were told they don't have WiFi. Came for a meeting with a client and had to go somewhere else to use the Internet after we had finished our drinks.Seems very popular and the reviews seem great, so maybe better for a casual drink and some food, but a shame about the 'meeting' space.
