I had used them in the past and their repair work is adequate but I will never be using this company again. They add in unexpected costs that were never quoted and that I am just expected to pay without prior agreement. I phone them up to query this and all I get is a half-hearted apology. Thoroughly disappointed!! I do NOT recommend this company!
Just too expensive. 30 for some tyre sealant and to inflate my tubeless tyres. Thats 15/wheel. To inflate tyres!My own stupid fault for leaving my sealant and compressor in Manchester and not getting a price before they started.
The whole team at Fulford Cycles are very friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. Most importantly they genuinely care about the customer.I had few things to be fixed on my bike and it felt like new after they had worked on it.
Appalling level of service. Most repairs and replacements I can do myself but this time I needed multiple repairs and replacements so thought it would be quicker and easier for a LBS to do it. Rang in to book bike in for service the following week. Had a long chat on the phone about the requirements and told no problem - all parts could be in next day after dropping off the bike. Dropped it in the next week as arranged. Rang a week later to see where they were up to just to be told that they hadnt got round to touching the bike. Got told had been too busy to do it and no start date either. The guy who Id spoken to hadnt even put any details in a diary. So two weeks after arranging for repair picked up the bike, untouched, and have booked into cycle heaven for the work to be done in 3 days time. Properly diarised and confirmed. This is not a one off incident. Exactly the same thing happened about 18 months ago. Booked in for service in advance, and after a week nothing had been done. Interestingly that time, in the short period that it took for me to get off the phone and walk to the shop the mechanic was busy beavering away on it and half sorted it. However, it wasnt indexed properly and the front wheel hadnt been refitted properly so I had a bit of sorting out to do when I got it home. Why the hell didnt I learn after that incident? Richard is fine to talk to and get advice (and to be fair he can do a good service as well) but his guys in the shop seem pretty clueless about how to actually manage and deal with customers in his absence. Will not be going there again.
Exceptional service. Giant propel pro quarantined into intensive care, the Fulford team safely repaired and rehabilitated to time quality and cost. Upon its release immediately delivered a faultless 110mile, 10800ft sportive route during which the bike never missed a beat. Professional team, exceptional service, world class performance.
